WHERE ARE THEY NOW: SERGEI BOLSHAKOV (KHL)

A member of the 2014 Russell Cup Championship squad, Goaltender Sergei Bolshakov is just one season removed from the Bradford Bulls and already making major strides towards his professional career.

Bolshakov, while with the Bulls, won two individual awards in addition to his Playoff championship as the GMHL's Top Goaltender and the GMHL's Rookie of the Year. Sergei was just 17 with the Bulls and already a starting goaltender.

Sergei was drafted to the KHL while under contract to the Bulls in the 4th Round of the 2014 KHL Entry Draft.

He signed Major Junior in Russia after the season in the MHL -- the Russian equivalent of the OHL. After starting 28 games in the MHL, Bolshakov was given an opportunity in the Russian KHL.

Over three games in the KHL, Sergei to have an outstanding 1.94GAA.

Most recently, Sergei was named to the Russian World Junior U20 team -- playing in the European international championships against some of the world's top junior players.

Sergei's young career is just beginning and the Bulls are proud to have played a part in his development as a goaltender and person off the ice.
