The Bradford Bulls rallied from an early 2-0 deficit and defeated the Lefroy Wave, 4-3 at Bradford's Bob Fallis arena on Wednesday night. The victory marked the Bulls' sixth win in seven games this season (6-0-1) , giving them sole position of the top spot in the GMHL standings.

Bradon Kirwin opened the scoring for the Wave, tallying only 13 seconds into the first period. Kirwin added another at 13:08 in order to give Lefroy a commanding 2-0 lead going into the second period.  However, the Bulls came out with vengeance in the second. The Bulls scored three unanswered goals within a fourteen minute span, and carried a 3-2 lead into the final stanza. Mexico-born Aldo Rodriguez notched his first goal of the season at 3:24 of the period, while 21 year-old Verneri Pellinen scored twice, once at 7:17 and again with just under six minutes remaining in the second period.

Lefory's Frederik Sury tied the game 3-3 at 10:14 of the third period, which had Bradford's unbeaten streak in jeopardy. The deadlock wouldn't last for long as Captain Dalton Mills finished off an unassisted play with three-and-a-half minutes to play in regulation, allowing the Bulls to re-gain a one goal lead. With some stingy defense, the Bulls were able to hold on for the victory.

Bradford netminder Sergey Bolshakov was the game's first star as he stopped 26 shots for his fourth win the the season. Lefory's Tomas Gbur was equally as brilliant, turning aside 37 shots. Bradford's top goal-scorer Jacob Bauchman was limited to one assist on the night.  The Bulls host Temiscaming next Wednesday night 8:00pm at Bob Fallis with the hope of stretching their unbeaten streak to an incredible eight games
