BULLS TRADE FOR VETERAN; SIGN TWO

Bradford, Ontario
Sept. 2, 2014

The Bradford Bulls have acquired the rights to '93 forward Mike Adams from the Tottenham Steam. In addition, two players have been signed from free agency -- junior star Jared McElroy-Walker and Nova Scotia native Raymond Jacquard.

1993 Born forward Mike Adams stands at 6 foot and 190 lbs and hails from Taneytown, MD.
Mike spent last season as a member of the Frederick Freeze, posting 11 goals and 16 assists in 38 games. His strengths are his size and hockey smarts, he uses his big body and plays a strong game in front of the net. General Manager Michael Telford went out to acquire Adams after seeing him skate in Steam training camp.

General Manager Michael Telford also confirmed the signing of NOJHL veteran Jared McElroy-Walker. Walker spent his minor hockey with the Mississauga Reps AAA and Toronto Marlboros AAA hockey teams. Last season with Elliot Lake (NOJHL), Walker posted a 32 point (8g, 24a) season in just 44 games. "Jared brings a ton of skill and leadership to our line up," said GM Telford, "he is very talented offensively and will be counted on to score some big goals for us this season." Jared is from Toronto, Ontario.

Raymond Jacquard  is a '96 forward from Nova Scotia. He is a solid two-way player with offensive upside. Standing 5'9", 200lbs, Raymond brings a gritty element to the club that will help the Bulls this season. Raymond had offers from other junior A clubs, but chose the Bulls this season.
Welcome to the Bradford Bulls.
