The Bradford Bulls continued their win streak through two games this past week. Close games against the Seguin Huskies and Lefroy Wave have the Bulls on a six game win streak sitting 6-0-1 atop the GMHL standings.

Last Sunday (Sep. 22) the Bulls traveled to Seguin to play the expansion Huskies. It was a early match-up of what many are considering two of the strongest teams in the league. The game was very evenly matched. A scoreless first period followed by a 1-1 second frame. It was 2-2 in the third until Bull Tristan Darling scored with 2:02 remaining in the game to give Bradford the victory 3-2 final. The other Bull goals were scored by Captain Dalton Mills and Russian import Sergey Shchenkov.

Bradford returned home to host the Lefroy Wave on the usual Wednesday night home game. Bradford controlled much of the pace of the game outshooting Lefroy 41-34 and won the game 4-3 final. Verneri Pellinen had a two goal performance in the match. Aldo Rodriguez recorded his first goal of his junior hockey career in Canada and Dalton Mills continued his strong season with a goal of his own. Elijah Dutton was arguably the Bulls top performer on the night notching two assists and dropping the gloves in the second period.

Bradford will look to make the streak seven with a single game next week. The powerhouse Temiscaming Titans will be coming to Bradford to take on the Bulls. The game takes place next Wednesday, October 2nd. Puck drop is 8:00PM.
