Sergey Bolshakov earned his second shutout of the season, fresh off an All-Star Game appearance, yesterday evening with the Bradford Bulls downed the visiting Bracebridge Phantoms 6-0. The Bulls have now won three straight and are in sold procession of third place in the GMHL.

The Russian duo of Nikita Litviak and Frederick Sury were the two best Bulls on the evening. Litviak was the games third star with three points (1g, 2a) and Sury with two goals. Leppanen, Bauchman and newcomer Tyler Gmerek were the other goal scorers for the Bulls.

Gmerek was acquired just before the GMHL Trade Deadline on January 10th from the Halton Ravens. Tyler is a big-time forward that notched 39 points in 33 games. The 6'1", 21 year old will play a key role as the Bulls go for this year's Russell Cup.

The Bulls have the week off until next Wednesday when the Bobcaygeon Bucks will be in Bradford. Puck drop is 8:00pm at Bob Fallis Arena.
