Bradford Bulls starting goaltender, Sergey Bolshakov, has signed a rookie contract with Khabarovsk Amur of the KHL.

Bolshakov is a 6'2" goaltender from Russia. He is just 17 years of age.

Bolshakov played an key role in the Bull's Russell Cup championship from the 2013/14 regular season.  In 21 games with the Bulls, Sergey posted a 15-9-0 record including three shutouts. He also recorded a 2.46GAA and .932save%.

During Bradford's playoff run, Sergey started in 13 games compiling an impressive 12-1-0 record on-route to the championship.

In addition, Bolshakov also received the honours of the GMHL's Top Goaltender and GMHL's Rookie of the Year.

Before being signed by Bradford, Sergey was drafted to Khabarovsk Amur (KHL) in the fourth round of the 2013 KHL entry draft.
