The Bradford Bulls Russell Cup hangover has affected the club through the opening of the season.  Two games on opening weekend both resulted in losses. The expansion Tottenham Steam defeated the Bulls 7-5 on Saturday while the Bradford Rattlers won 10-3.

Rookie Jacob Guibord was the first star of the Tottenham game, despite the loss. Jacob's two goals and assist were complimented by line mate Raymond Jacquard, who had a goal and two assists for three points. Valee Quachegan played outstanding between the pipes with 42 saves. The Steam are expected to be a top club in the South and the Bulls proved that they can compete right with them.

The club played the Bradford Rattlers last night. Despite leading the game 2-1 following the first period, the two games in two nights caught up with the club. Goal scorers for the Bulls were Tyler Harrod, who scored his first as a Bull, Everett Bird and Jacob Guibord.

Bradford's season continues with a home-and-home series with the Orangeville Americans.  First is another road trip to Orangeville this Wednesday before the Americans open Bob Fallis Arena Monday.
