BULLS REMAIN IN SECOND PLACE

Bradford, Ontario
January 31, 2014

The Bradford Bulls had two huge games this week against the Rama Aces and Alliston Coyotes. Bradford beat-up on the Aces 8-0 final; but fell to the surging Coyotes 4-3 in a close game.  The Bulls have just three games remaining on the season with a record of 29-6-4 in second place.

The finish line played another key role in Wednesday win over Rama on home ice. Their unbelievable chemistry as a line combined for four of the eight goals. "Their passing is on point", said GM Mike Fish when asked why this line is successful, "all three of them are unbelievably skilled players; I have been getting calls all week from North American pro teams looking to come watch them play." Also finding the back of the net in the game included: Gmerek (2), LeDuc and Litviak.

Bradford was not as fortunate Thursday night in Alliston when they fell to the Coyotes 4-3 final. Despite outshooting the Alliston a whopping 64-22, Alliston's veteran goaltender Anton Todykov stood on his head and stole the game. Gmerek was able to sneak two past him while Shchenkov had a single but it was not enough.

As mentioned, Bradford has just three games remaining on the regular season schedule. Next up is the Knights of Meaford next Wednesday (Feb 5) at Bob Fallis Arena. Puck drop is 8:00pm. This could prove to be a early playoff-preview, as Meaford looks to be one of the teams that could be matched up against the Bulls.
