With Bradford Bulls training camp set to begin in a matter of weeks, the Bulls would like to make several announcements regarding the 2012-2013 inargual season. These include players acquired through the 2012 GMHL Entry Draft, player signings, and additions to the Bulls program.

The 2012 GMHL Entry Draft took place earlier in May in Innisfil, Ontario. The Bulls were present to make nine selections. The following players were selected:

9th Round Willard McMillen (USA)
10th Round Dominic Delaguardia (USA) | Acquired from Toronto Canada Moose
10th Round Devon Upton (Haliburton, Ont)

General Manager Mike Fish has also been busy recruiting players from all over the world for the first season. He is pleased to confirm Anthony Berry (USA), Clint Zumer (USA), Austin May (CDN), Kyle Suggs (USA), Sean Endsley (USA), George Coslett (New Zealand), Charles Defelice (USA), John Champlain (USA), Kyle Measles (USA), Evan Tempel (USA), Kyle Koop (USA), Zdenek Fort (Czech Republic), Tomas Krejek (Czech Republic), Kopec Jiri (Czech Republic), Randy Mortley (CDN), Mike Mussucci (Bradford, CDN), and Mitch Royce (Bradford, CDN) as free agents joining our club next season. Fish also noted that a handful of players will be joining the squad with years of junior experience already.

Off the ice, the Bulls are gearing up for their training camp at the World Hockey Centre. It will be in-residence, running from August 19 – September 1. Furthermore, our connections with RHE Management are already paying off, referring some talented players to our team.
The Bradford Bulls are looking for billet families from around the community to host our players during the season. For most of our team, this will be the first time moving away from home; we are looking for safe and supportive families in the community to offer a warm environment. The GMHL also continues to grow and get stronger every season. Five expansion franchises will be joining the league next year. With new teams going in Rama, Powasson, Bradford, Toronto and Bracebridge, the Bulls will need to ice strong squad to compete.
