The Bradford Bulls CaptainĀ Dalton MillsĀ has signed commitment papers to play for Concordia College in their NCAA Division III ice hockey club.

His former Head Coach Ryan Wood confirmed the announcement at the GMHL Head Office earlier this morning.

Dalton first broke into the GMHL in 2011 as a 16 year old rookie with the Bradford Rattlers. In 2012, the expansion Bradford Bulls traded and signed local talent as one of their first players. By the end of the club's first training camp in 2012, the 17 year old was wearing the 'C' and marked as the face of the franchise.

After two seasons, Mills is leaving the Bulls holding the all-time franchise records for most Games Played (73), Goals (35), Assists (53) and Total Points (88).

The Uxbridge, Ontario native lead the Bradford Bulls to their 2013/14 Russell Cup Championship as one of the league's top two-way centremen.

In addition to his exceptional on-ice success, Mills also played a prominent role in the community. He was an instructor at the local World Hockey Centre U15 Summer Hockey Camp, teaching Bradford's minor hockey players. He also was heavily involved with Bradford elementary school system, volunteering frequently.

Both the Bradford Bulls and GMHL Management are very excited to have Dalton advance to NCAA hockey next season. He has been a class-act in the league for three years and an exceptional example of how respect, hard-work and dedication can create opportunities through the game of hockey.

Congratulations Dalton!
