The Bradford Bulls continued their strong play through the last week of play to remain in first place in the GMHL. Bradford played two games through the week, first against the Orangeville Americans and second versus the expansion Alliston Coyotes.

Last Monday, Bradford matched up against the Orangeville Americans for the second time already this season. The game was surprising close, but saw the Bulls take it 3-2. Goaltender Valee Quanchegan got his first start as a Bull and preformed well, turning away 30 shots and earning the victory. Strong play offensively from Russian Nikita Litviak (2g, 0a) and Jacob Bauchman (1g,0a) was enough to overtake Orangeville.

Last night (Sep 18) the Bulls were once again at home, playing host to the first year Alliston Coyotes. The Bulls' top guns came to play this night as Bradford pounded Alliston 9-3. Lead by Jacob Bauchman, who had an impressive five goals, the Bulls broke out offensively. Sergey Bolshakov got the win between the pipes, bringing the team to a four game win streak. Other goal scorers included: Jacob Fallis, Kayle Wallenhorst, Verneri Pellinen and Stephen Heape.

The Bulls will look to continue their win streak and stay in first place with two games next week. First up is a road trip to take on the Seguin Huskies. Seguin is touted as one of the top contenders for this year's Russell Cup despite being a first year team. After which, Bradford returns home to take on the Lefroy Wave. The game takes place next Wednesday (Sep 25) with a 8:00PM puck drop at Bob Fallis Arena.
