Bradford, Ontario
October 9, 2014
The Bradford Bulls took town the rival Orangeville Americans in a close 2-1 game Wednesday evening. After being on the south side of two one goal games, Bradford finally beat their Highway 89 rivals. The Bulls are 2-1 in their last three heading into a road trip.
Third year goaltender Mike Masucci was the difference maker in the tight defensive game. His 29 save performance earned second star of the game -- only allowing a single goal that was a questionable allowance with the net being several feet off its moorings.
Defenceman Zakk Bekolay scored his second on the year with a hard shot from the point.
Captain Yuval Rosenthal played hero for the Bulls, after receiving a break away pass from Cody Greene, Rosenthall slipped one under the Americans goaltender with just 1:46 remaining in the third to win the game.
The Bulls embark on a road trip to Rama this Friday (Oct 10). Bradford returns to Bob Fallis next Wednesday to take on the Toronto Attack.
