"He is the best player in the league" were the words of Bulls General Manager Michael Fish on the acquisition of superstar forward Tomi Taavitsainen from the Bracebridge Phantoms on January 10th; the GMHL's trade deadline.  

Tomi is sitting third in league scoring with 95 points (46g, 44a) in only 31 games. He is also second in the GMHL in goal scoring.

Taavitsainen will be wearing #7 on Bradford. The 21 year old hails from Helsinki, Finland and stands 6'3" and weighs 210lbs.

"The transition to the Bulls will be easy for him," said Fish, "our top two scorers are Finish natives (Leppanen & Pellinen) and we just signed Toppari who is a D-man from Finland aswell." Fish continued to stress dressing-room cultural emersion as a major factor when looking to acquire a super-star player of Tomi's ability.

Tomi Taavitsainen will debut tonight in against the Bobcaygeon Bucks. Puck drop is 8:00pm at Bob Fallis Arena.
