THREE SENT TO ALL-STARS

Bradford, Ontario
January 07, 2014

Three Bradford Bulls represented our club at the 2014 GMHL All-Star last Monday in Temiscaming Quebec. Goaltender Sergey Bolshakov, D-men Kyle Wallenhorst and Sergey Shchenkov played and represented the Bradford club.

Bolshakov was signed as a free agent this off-season. He came to the club already drafted to the KHL, the Russian version of the NHL. He has been a primary reason for the Bulls success this season with 12-8-0 record. His .932 save percentage has him amongst the league leaders and 2.60 GAA has attracted interest from Major Junior and professional teams.

Wallenhorst is in his first season as a Bull on the blue line. He plays heavy minutes every game and is an intangible part of the club's back end. He has a respectable 17 points in 31 games.

The final Bull All-Star is import Sergey Shchenkov. The 17 year old is proving to be one of the top young prospects in the GMHL. His 34 points in 32 games has given him recognition from Russian national teams and major junior clubs.

Congratulations to these players. They have worked hard this season and deserve the recognition!
